Sarah, I loved your swimming hole post. This is Lake Minnewaska, just a little while after I joined the Minnewaska Distance Swimming Association. More swimming! Lovely.

I love Minnewaska! I think it’s so interesting because Minnewaska and Lake Awosting are both “dead” lakes because of the high copper content in the rocks. So they are crystal clear and devoid of weeds and leaches! 😀 My favorite kind of lake.
I am a crappy swimmer, so I am impressed by your joining of the distance swimmers club!
